Robison Rocket Launch

Robison RocketThe Robison Rocket visited school on February the 13th, 2009!   Andy Berger assembled the 6 foot tall high-power rocket to use for his Level 1 and 2 certifications.

Student council members were invited to sign the rocket to represent the student body.  Staff members also joined in the fun of signing the First Robison Rocket!  It was displayed during lunches on Friday and Andy was on hand to answer questions.

The maiden flight took place Saturday March 14th at Hearne, TX during the Tripoli Houston Rocket Club launch.  Details are in the attached power point slide show.

The 2nd flight took place April 11th 2009 again at Hearne, TX.  This launch reached 4,967 feet and accelerated to almost 700mph!
